Hi, I’m Katelyn!
(they/she)
I’m a neurodivergent, anti-diet Registered Dietitian based in Baltimore, and I’ve spent a decade working with eating disorders and disordered eating, everywhere from intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs to one-on-one outpatient levels of care. I’ve been an RDN since 2017 and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor since 2019, and I’ve also led clinical teams in neurodivergent-affirming care.
Many of the folks I work with are autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD, and many are also navigating POTS/dysautonomia, EDS, diabetes, or other chronic illnesses and disabilities. A lot of them have already tried the meal plans and the “just be more consistent” advice, and came away feeling like they were doing it wrong. I get it, and I promise you’re not.
I’m a neurodivergent-, LGBTQ+-, and disability-affirming provider. My work is rooted in years of clinical training, with a little extra understanding that comes from lived experience. You don’t have to mask, explain your brain, or justify your body to me.
Philosophy & Approach
My work is firmly grounded in the Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) paradigms. I believe that every body deserves care and respect, and I don’t use weight, food rules, or shame as tools. Weight stigma, food access, and accessibility are equity and justice issues, not personal failings.
Bodies and brains that don’t fit the prescribed mold aren’t something to fix. I work with folks to make room for sensory needs, body cues, and all of the various ways they move through the world. Clients often describe sessions as feeling more like “nutrition therapy” than a typical clinical dietitian appointment. Along with what’s on your plate, we’ll talk about your relationship with food, body image, and movement, and all of the ways self-care impacts your mood, energy, and focus.
A lot of what we’ll discuss goes beyond “what to eat” and into the “how” and “why” we eat. This can look like streamlining day-to-day routines or finding quick, low-spoon meals that fit your actual life.
